My dad left for texas once again yesterday. They may get an opportunity to come home for leave one last time before they leave for Iraq. Too bad this country will never leave it. Want proof? What country have we been part of combat that we don't currently hold either soldiers, bases or both?

We took tons of pictures, of the fireworks him with my son, with my brothers and of all the fireworks. I've been using picasa to catalog all my pictures. It is definately a killer tool for cataloging pictures. I would reccomend it to anyone and have. Everyone I've told about loves it. Check it out. Picasa I've got it running under wine on my linux box ( Mepis Linux ) everything seems to work, but I have yet to check out the sound. The only thing is make sure you install it into your native wine fake windows directory. If you just run it from a windows drive/partition where it is installed, it runs odd and has wacky errors.

We went to Wyoming and bought fireworks, some 197 dollars and odd change worth of fireworks. We got a bunch of freebies, but all of them are illegal in this state. Although that hardly stopped us from lighting off a bunch of firecrackers and bottle rockets, I still have a ton of the illegals left over. (Large Rockets and Mortars.) I was going to send them with my brothers to camp, but the scouts may not appreciate it.

When we were packing them up I asked my brother if he had hidden any of them and he cracked really fast. I just looked at him in the big brother type way and he went and grabbed a couple roman candles out of his dresser.

Apparently the internet has been branded with a bad name once again. This time by a sick pedophile fuck from Idaho. He created a blog called 'the fifth nail' the legend is that there was a fifth nail crafted, stolen by gypsies, to pierce christs heart. I always thought that there were already five used... One in each hand one in each wrist and one through both feet. I'm not even going to link to the site as it appears to be temporarily removed by godaddy staff. Google for it and you will find it though. Hopefully the justice system won't fail us one more time. And for the record Idaho is not all about ruby ridge and pedophiles. At least southeast Idaho is not.

For everyone who is not able to install programs at work but would love to try out firefox.

Portable Firefox. It is firefox in a zip file. Less than 7 meg. Unzip it and burn it to a cd (Live Version.) Or you can unzip it to your 'my documents' folder or anywhere else for that matter. Check and make sure that you are authorized to connect using a different browser etc. Don't blame me if it doesn't work, you may have to change proxy settings in the firefox browser. You can also install extensions without administrator rights. Awesome.

Same thing as before but it is an office suite that fits on a 128 meg usb key. Or just unzip it to a local folder. Open word perfect or MS office or star office, etc... The list goes on.

I unintentionally logged into this blog today. I started one about 3 months ago, and when I logged in with my standard user name and password this one came up! Crazy as hell because I remembered at one point having (maybe) started one, but had no idea what the name was. Life is like that.

Clarification on the 4 year old previous post. The skins were for winamp 2. The plugin was taken from a website that I may or may not have changed settings and code for. It's been long enough that I don't remember now.

I had a discussion with co-workers the other day on why women should not be in combat.
Their reasoning? Because, they menstreute. Now I've heard this before and I think it is their best argument, anyone who is having severe cramps will not preform as well. I was shocked, as hell, to say the least when that wasn't where they were going.

They felt that women should not be in combat because of the smell. THE FUCKING SMELL! For crying out loud, any mans shit stinks five times as bad as any womans crotch. They can bury the fucking tampons just as easily as we can bury shit.

I expected them to argue that it was much more possible for them to get a yeast infection, or later on a kidney infection. Both easily countered by good hygeine.
